Executive Profile

David McCall is an executive officer for Acuitive.  He currently serves as Vice President of Sales for ConnectSoft (formerly Stonestreet One).  Prior to joining ConnectSoft he was VP of the PC Strategic Business Unit at CSR.  David joined CSR in 2000 and was instrumental in the company’s growth from a Bluetooth start-up to a leading fabless-semiconductor company specialising in a range of wireless communications technologies. 

McCall has experience working with all the major PC OEMs; with technologies such as WiFi and UWB as well as Bluetooth; and in areas ranging from systems engineering and silicon development to strategic planning and contract negotiation.  He has written numerous articles for industry journals and frequently presented at industry conferences on both technical and business topics.  Before CSR, McCall worked at Visteon – at the time a subsidiary of Ford Motor Company – on the electronic and system design of car stereos.  He holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electronics from the University of Edinburgh.
